Meet Ember, my senior capstone project.

Ember is a campsite lantern that reimagines outdoor lighting through adaptability, warmth, and conscious design. Transforming intuitively between a torch, table lamp, and hanging lantern, Ember reduces the need for multiple camping lights while supporting a wide range of campsite activities. Designed to simplify the packing experience, the light provides focused illumination for tasks like cooking and setup, while also creating soft, dimmable ambient light that draws people together. More than a utility object, Ember becomes a social centerpiece within the campsite — shaping atmosphere, encouraging connection, and bringing a sense of warmth and presence to outdoor living.
